TRENTO SPUMANTE BRUT BLANC DE BLANC "MAXIMUM" FERRARI

The Ferrari myth was born from a man, Giulio Ferrari, and from his dream of creating in Trentino a wine capable of comparing itself with the best French Champagnes. He is a pioneer: it is he who first perceives the extraordinary vocation of his land, he who first spreads Chardonnay in Italy. He begins to produce a few carefully selected bottles, with an obsessive cult for quality. Among the many suitors for the succession he chooses Bruno Lunelli, owner of a wine shop in Trento. Thanks to passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno Lunelli manages to increase production without ever compromising on quality.

The Ferrari Maximum Blanc de Blancs The first label produced by Giulio Ferrari at the beginning of the twentieth century is the Blanc de Blanc with an unmistakable style that conquers for its freshness and fragrance. The vines grow in the shadow of the Trentino mountains, in vineyards located at an altitude between 300 and 700 meters above sea level, with a south-east and south-west exposure. The grapes, harvested manually in the first half of September, after vinification, referment in the bottle for the second time, remaining in contact with their yeasts for at least three years.

It presents itself to the eye with a bright straw yellow and perlage of considerable persistence. On the nose of great intensity. The fruity notes typical of Chardonnay prelude to pleasant hints of bread crust and hazelnut conferred by the over 30 months of aging on the lees. The taste is fresh and of great finesse, it makes the sip inviting and satisfying. The long finish gives hints of citrus and mineral sensations.
