RUM "J. BALLY" VIEUX AGRICOLE 12 Y

Rhum Piramide Bally is an agricultural rum obtained from the first "grinding" of the barrel (hence the name "agricultural") and with a strong personality, dry and with a remarkable alcohol content, like almost all the spirits belonging to this category. Full of perfumed notes and impressive retro-olfactory persistence, it is aged in ancient white oak barrels which gives a pleasant amber color and delicate fragrances. It is not distilled from molasses, as happens most of the time, but from the juice of sugar cane harvested in the limited period of January and February.
On the nose it has rich aromas of cinnamon and vanilla, together with sweet notes of caramel and hazelnut, with more complex hints of coffee beans, leather and pipe tobacco. The taste refers to the candied orange peel that accompanies a long finish of chestnut honey.
