ETNA ROSSO "CAVANERA ROVO DELLE COTURNIE" FIRRIATO 2016
The “Cavanera Rovo delle Coturnie” Etna Rosso by Firriato is produced with a fermentation of the grapes in conical wooden vats and a subsequent 12-month maturation period in Slavonian oak barrels. Before being put on the market, the wine is refined for 6 months in the bottle. It has a bright ruby red color. The olfactory profile is elegant, with aromas of raspberry, small red berried fruits, floral and herbal nuances of the Mediterranean scrub, hints of spice and mineral sensations of graphite. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with a delicate, vibrant sip and a dense and evolved tannic texture. The aromas are subtle and multifaceted, with a fragrant and harmonious fruit note of tertiary evolution, which anticipate a savory and refreshing finish.
