SFORZATO DELLA VALTELLINA " RAINOLDI" 2018

Aldo Rainoldi is one of the undisputed protagonists of Valtellina wine. His cellar has been renovated for some years to the advantage of a meticulous care of the entire production chain, starting from the vineyards and the dynamic relationship with the trusted contributors. The main representative of the Rainoldi company is certainly the "Sfursat", Sforzato, a wine obtained from the drying of the best Nebbiolo grapes from the best exposed vineyards and the result of the most fortunate harvests.

The grapes, laid out on frames or in boxes, are left to dry in a completely natural way for a few months; this process and the meticulous attention used in these phases by the cellar allows to produce a great wine, able to combine structure, elegance and longevity.

A wine that is born even in extreme conditions, as that of Valtellina is certainly a heroic viticulture, in which the Nebbiolo vineyards are literally climbed on the impervious, but at the same time perfectly exposed, slopes of the Rhaetian side. These conditions guarantee the success of an exceptional, intense and deep wine, endowed with a rare elegance.
