BARBERA D'ALBA "TRE VIGNE" VIETTI 2017
The Vietti winery cultivates the grapes that give life to this Barbera d'Alba “Tre Vigne” in the vineyards scattered between the towns of Castiglione Falletto, Monforte and Castiglione Tinella. It is a terroir with an important limestone-clay component, where the average age of the plants is around 35-40 years. After the strictly manual harvest, the grapes ferment in steel for about 14 days at a temperature between 26 and 32 degrees; then they carry out the malolactic fermentation in barrique, remaining in contact with their own fine lees for about 4 months. The aging phase follows, carried out for 14 months both in barrique and in large oak barrels
