Belgian Abbaye beer produced since 1925, Augustijn Blonde was originally brewed in the monastery of the Augustinian fathers in the city of Ghent. If production is now ensured by the Van Steenberge Brewery, which produces among other things the famous Gulden Draak, Augustijn always draws on its monastic past to offer you the best and authentic flavors of Belgian Abbaye beers. A blonde beer refermented in the bottle, Augustijn Blonde has a slightly amber aspect that is enriched by a white foam neck. From this neck, the grassy and fruity aromas of hops are released. A slight scent that evokes yeasts is at the same time perceptible to the nose. We find flavors that are quite reminiscent of hops in the mouth, with very present fruity and grassy nuances that subsequently give way to a vanilla touch of malt. A pleasant bitter note emerges in the finish and reaffirms the presence of hops. Alcohol is present without being excessive
