GRAPPA DI AMARONE "CLEOPATRA" ASTUCCIATA CL 70
It is said that the first alembic in history was created by the Egyptian alchemist Cleopatra, who intended to use it to distill the most precious of metals, gold. The name she gave him was Crysopea, from the Greek "chrysos", gold and "poirò", to do.
After years of research within the Poli Distilleries, a new Crysopea is reborn, the most innovative vacuum bain-marie still in existence and in operation, with which the prestigious Poli Amarone ORO contained in this bottle is distilled.
Cleopatra Amarone Oro grappa is obtained from the pomace of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, used for the production of the famous Veronese wine.
On the nose it expresses itself on notes of dried fruit, sweet spices and toasted wood, and reveals a full and sincere flavor. The pomace of red grapes from which this brandy originates gives it a greater structure than the other sisters of the line, but the use of Crysopea, the still in a bain-marie vacuum-sealed, ensures the maintenance of all the delicate floral notes.
