FRANCIACORTA BRUT "CUVEE ROYALE" MAGNUM ANTINORI
The Montenisa estate is located in the heart of Franciacorta, around the Borgo di Calino. In this land of great wines, vines have always been cultivated. Some say that "Franciacorta" originates from "Petite France", an affectionate name that Charlemagne gave it.
Produced with Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco grapes in the Montenisa Estate.
The Marchese Antinori Cuvée Royale has a pale yellow color and a creamy mousse with fine perlage and
persistent. On the nose, due to its stay on the yeasts, it is striking for its intense aroma with notes of white peach, apple and hints of toasted bread. On the palate, the typical liveliness of Brut is accompanied by hints of dehydrated apricot that give it an unprecedented and precious harmony, of great expressiveness and elegance.
The vinification takes shape from the grapes, upon arrival in the cellar, they have been directly subjected to a soft pressing. The 'free run' must, obtained from the first pressing, was transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature. The wine then began the second fermentation process in the bottle, remaining in refinement and in contact with the yeasts for a long period.
The typical floral and fruity fragrances make the Marchese Antinori Cuvée Royale an ideal companion for aperitifs, vegetable based appetizers, fish, white meats and not overly elaborate first courses.
