SPUMANTE BRUT RISERVA 2022 "FILANDA ROSE'" BORTOLOMIOL

Giuliano Bortolomiol, the great sparkling wine that he was, made his first rosé in the early 1970s. Today the daughters Maria Elena, Elvira, Luisa and Giuliana, together with their mother Ottavia, present a very prestigious rosé sparkling wine, the Filanda Rosé, and have the honor of dedicating it to the women of the spinning mills of Valdobbiadene who with their hard work have contributed to the development of the territory. A tribute from women to women proudly pink, beautifully bubbly.

The new bottles are inspired by haute couture, a sector that has made Italy famous throughout the world. Absolute black combined with small chromatic details that emerge unexpectedly, an imaginary cotton thread that intertwines to form abstract designs reminiscent of the works of Paul Jackson Pollock, an American painter, considered one of the greatest representatives of abstract expressionism. History, Art, Agriculture and Sustainability, a set of values ​​that the Family wanted to enclose in these precious bottles, a almost invisible black writing "Enjoy" invites you to enter the world of Bortolomiol.

The vinification begins with a short maceration on the skins before soft pressing; primary fermentation at controlled temperature with selected yeasts. Then follows a second fermentation for 25-30 days and aging on the lees for 3 months; it follows from 1 to 3 months of refinement in the bottle.
Obtained from Pinot Noir grapes from Oltrepò Pavese and suitably macerated, it has a beautiful delicate pink color but at the same time intense and decisive and a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, the exuberance of wide and varied fruity sensations is counterpointed by the finesse and complexity of the floral, almost fleshy, and spicy scents of pepper and cinnamon. The freshness and good texture of this wine emerge on the palate, as well as the remarkable persistence of taste and smell. A rich fish soup with tomato seems to us to be a good match as well as a tasty onion and cheese soup. Spicy foods find a good association with this Rosé, favoring its exotic character.
