TRENTO SPUMANTE DOSAGGIO ZERO LETRARI
The Letrari Company, a family that has roots in the history of Trentino wine itself. Active as early as 1647 in Borghetto d'Avio, on the banks of the Adige, first as river raftsmen, then traders and shrewd agricultural innovators. With Leonello Letrari immediately on the wine scene of good drinking. Thanks to him if in the immediate post-war period the wines of the Dolomites acquire character and prestige beyond the regional borders. It is always he who 'creates' the first blends and in the 1960s he begins to develop fine sparkling wines. To then found in 1976 - together with his wife Maria Vittoria - the current family business. Tradition and innovation are the company's creed, constantly applied with modern agronomic practices, with the work and dedication of the new generations.
The Dosaggio Zero Riserva Talento Trento Doc is a vintage obtained from the union of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir harvested exclusively by hand, with a permanence on the lees for at least 36 months to enhance its soft elegance. At the end of the harvest, the best bunches of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are sent separately for fermentation, which takes place in steel tanks. After a few months of aging, the base wines are blended to create the definitive cuvée. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method, with a stop on the lees for at least 24 months.
It has a golden, bright and lively color. The perfume offers a range of fragrances ranging from bread crust to vanilla tones, on a background of apple cream and dried fruit. The taste is full with notes of ripe apple revived on a background of citrus and hazelnut. The Zero Dosage processing makes it pure and clean in its complexity with a good acidulous vein. A fresh and lively wine, full and with a solid structure, with a very persistent finish, just like its very fine perlage.
