VALDOBBIADENE SUP. "CARTIZZE" DRY BORTOLOMIOL 2022

There is a particularly precious hilly area within the Municipality of Valdobbiadene. It is called "Cartizze". Its beauty takes your breath away. Its charm is ancient, out of time. There are rows cared for by winemakers with absolute dedication. The Cartizze hill is in fact a real Grand Cru. Historically it is believed that the most valuable grapes come from the few hectares of vineyards located along its banks. Due to the particular exposure to the sun and the minerality of the soil, here the vine produces rounder, swollen berries with a sugary flavor that make its quality absolutely superior. The harvest is done by hand.

A Superiore di Cartizze that presents itself to the eye with a very fine and persistent perlage; an invitation to drink. Before tasting it, let's focus on its aromas that enhance the vocation of Prosecco Superiore: pleasantness. Among them we find notes of fruit salad, hazelnuts, sweet acacia flowers but above all a great fusion of these sensations. In the mouth the typical sugars of this type are compensated by the freshness and a remarkable density and creaminess stands out. Wine for special occasions, to be drunk quietly even on its own even if it is an excellent combination with small delicately sweet dry pastries.
