BAROLO RISERVA "MONVIGLIERO" CASTELLO DI VERDUNO 2016
The Monvigliero hill at 280 m.s.l.m. it is completely exposed to midday. Thanks to the position and the soil made up of fine white marls, this sub-area together with the Cannubi di Barolo vineyard contends for the qualitative primacy over the entire Barolo area. From the 0.30 hectares of property, replanted in 1969, and after a very long aging in oak we obtain a Barolo Riserva that stands out for the delicate refinement of the aromas and for an elegance to be appreciated over time. If the grapes do not have the qualitative characteristics that are required from this vineyard, the mention Riserva is renounced
