BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO MASTROJANNI 2017
Mastrojanni's Brunello di Montalcino tells the soul of a land and the love for wine of a family that has contributed to the enhancement of the appellation since 1975, starting an adventure that soon had a well-deserved success
It was the lawyer Gabriele Mastrojanni who started the farm by purchasing the Poderi San Pio and Loreto and defining a very simple philosophy: "When the land is scarce, it is the philosophy, not the man". The gift of nature at the center of the vision of great red wines, a philosophy that requires great patience, respect and humility. A philosophy that has allowed us to obtain great results, like this Brunello di Montalcino which is born in the hamlet of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, on vineyards located between 200 and 400 meters above sea level, on vineyards facing South-East and South-West. , on very lean soils that require working with a very low yield
The intense and warm ruby red color anticipates a wide-ranging aroma accompanied by notes of pulpy and ripe fruit enriched by spicy nuances, notes of undergrowth and pleasant balsamic hints.
In the mouth a dense and silky tannic texture admirably supported by a fragrant acidity guides with great elegance to a long and persistent finish.
