ROSSO DI MONTEPULCIANO "SABAZIO" LA BRACCESCA 2021
The typical freshness of the traditional Sangiovese variety combines with the exuberance of the characteristic fruit of Merlot to represent the ancient territory of Montepulciano. The name of the wine celebrates Sabatino Lulli, known as "Sabazio", monk of the abbey of Montepulciano who was the first, in the medieval period, to provide the indications for the production of wine in the area.
The nose is characterized by fresh notes of red fruit, such as black cherry and raspberry, and by pleasant floral and balsamic scents. On the palate it is soft, with velvety tannins that accompany a pleasantly sapid and fresh finish. In the aftertaste the fruity sensations perceived by the nose return.
