LUGANA SUPERIORE CA' LOJERA 2019
This Lugana Superiore di Ca 'Lojera is born from the use of Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, locally referred to as turbiana. We are on the shores of Lake Garda, more precisely in those vineyards owned by the winery that surround Sirmione, a terroir consisting mainly of white clays. The must obtained from the pressing of the selected grapes ferments in wooden barrels, with frequent bâtonnage. We then proceed with the final phase of maturation, in which the wine rests for 24 months in oak barrels with a capacity of 25 hectoliters. It announces itself to the eye with a straw yellow color, characterized by light more golden flashes, visible intermittently in the glass. The range of notes that envelops the nostrils develops on a concentrated texture, where flowers alternate with ripe fruit and variegated mineral and spicy hints. In the mouth it is full-bodied, tasty and satisfying thanks to a snug sip, from which a savory flavor emerges; on the finish there is a particular astringency, which however does not disturb the drink, but rather makes it originally pleasant. A label that is designed by the winery owners to be long-lived, and which can therefore be consumed even in a couple of years, without showing any signs of abating
