MONTECUCCO BIANCO "MELACCE" COLLEMASSARI 2022

Melacce is the name of the river that flows from Mount Aquilaia and crosses a large part of the municipality of Cinigiano.

An organic wine from vineyards located about 300 meters above sea level, with different solar orientation and soil composition. Sandstone soils alternating with marl soils, ferrous and clayey limestone soils and gravel deposits. In combination with the optimal microclimate, they represent the ideal requirements for the cultivation of a distinctive and demanding grape variety. After a night of cryopreservation, the vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, where the wine is aged for 5 months.

This Vermentino from the Collemassari company is characterized by a fruity and fresh flavor at the first sip. There are aromas of Granny Smith apple, white peach and sweet lime, as well as a note of exotic fruit. Refreshing and dry on the palate with an extraordinary minerality. The aftertaste is dry and indicates good pressing and aromatic precision. An ideal wine for an elegant and refined summer.
