PINOT GRIGIO KOFERERHOF 2020

Köfererhof is a small family business within a South Tyrolean farm located at 700 meters above sea level, in the Isarco Valley, in one of the coldest areas of South Tyrol. Since the company has been managed by the Kerschbaumer family in 1995 this winery has been bottling the wine with its own label, unlike in the past when it sold the grapes to other producers. The sunny position on the slopes of the mountains, and the strong summer temperature range, contribute to giving particularly fresh and aromatic white wines. Over the years, the wines of Köfererhof have made the wines of the Valle Isarco known and contributed to the birth of the Valle Isarco DOC. Today their company is a spearhead of this area and has become famous for its white wines, mostly made from local grapes such as Kerner, Gewürztraminer, Veltliner and Riesling. The Pinot Grigio Kofererhof is an elegant still wine produced in the Novacella area, in the Isarco Valley. The Pinot Grigio grapes in purity give the nose delicate floral hints of acacia, fruity hints of banana and citrus, and mineral sensations. On the palate it is savory, full and fresh, with a persistent finish. Before being bottled it refines for about 6 months in stainless steel
