SYLVANER "R" KOFERERHOF 2019

Kofererhof's Sylvaner Riserva "R" was born on vineyards located over 650 meters above sea level, on vines that have an average age of nearly 20 years. The Sylvaner "R" excites for its longevity and its grandeur with which it manages to show itself in the glass. It was born in a wonderful territory. We are in Varna, in the territory of Novacella, on an idyllic background that offers a spectacular view. Here the vineyards alternate with orchards and the typical South Tyrolean houses surround a unique environment of its kind. The Kofererhof company stands on an old farmhouse from the 1600s, recently renovated; it ferments in steel, then in May it is left in oak barrels for two or three months on the fine lees. The Sylvaner "R" is different, it is profound, it is captivating. It manages to involve thanks to a pulpy aromatic style where you can recognize orange, apple, pear, pineapple, banana and vanilla.
